• What determines if a site shows at the top of it's category?
  Sites are ranked on GolfHelp on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the highest possible. All new sites are assigned a default rank of 1 - 3. We want the most helpful links listed first, so we review each site and assign categories. If you do not include keywords or a description for your site as meta-tags, we may incorrectly categorize your web site. 
• Advertisers have the opportunity to purchase an upgrade in the search rankings. By arranging with us we will assign a higher rank, say 8, and they will always be shown at or near the top of their category because they are the most helpful within their category.

  No, not for the same page. We try very hard not to list duplicate results and in fact have programmed our database not to provide duplicate results.

  Yes! If we love your site or make special arrangements for us to review your site in case we missed something, then absolutely. We are committed to having the best golf site on the net that is of use to our visitors.
• If I repeat keywords, will it help my listing?
  No, No, and No. With our ranking system, repeated keywords give you no advantage, they are only counted once. We manually review each site and delete excess keywords as well as inappropriate keywords. We are not a spider driven site, there are actually humans here that review each site.
• Why do you need my e-mail address?
  In the future, once you are listed, we may allow you to edit your link to keep it up to date. To do this, we need your e-mail address. So once your link is added, you will be e-mailed your link ID, which you need so that you can make your changes.

• How long does it take to get listed?
